Big Art July 2019 Recap

"Big Art" art camp, July 2019! This time we learned about ancient Greek and Roman sculpture and architecture, and especially how those mythically white relics actually used to be brightly painted. Of course, we painted our own real plaster columns to bring home... a double dose of art history and art-in-action!
Also completed was a 48"x48" canvas with gorgeous circle patterns, a la Kandinsky, LeWitt, and Klee. This piece will be on display at the Woodland Aquatic Center for all to see! So proud and happy about getting to know and work with all these cool kids! Next up, "Sketching Like a Boss".
